Authentic "Honkaku" Umeshu is

Not all umeshu in the market are authentic "honkaku" umeshu. Authentic umeshu are marked as 本格梅酒 ("honkaku umeshu")  and are made from only 3 natural ingredients with amazing health benefits. While normal umeshu have the same ingredients and may be cheaper, but they generally contain acidulants, flavourings and colourings. 

Here at CHOYA, we spend more than a year producing umeshu using the traditional method. More than 90% of all our umeshu products are "honkaku" umeshu.
